My scissors arrived yesterday and I was so pleased with the quality (happy dance!!)!!!!! The free razor is also superior quality! I saved $50 by ordering them through Amazon rather than their own website. I was looking to make an investment in a good piece of equipment that will last me for many years. I have been a hairstylist for 25 years and had always purchased Joelle. The last two pair I bought from them was within the just last three year period and they were the most horrible pieces of junk, literally rendered completely unusable in such a short amount of time! I contacted their company and got no response! So I researched and found Kamisori to be highly rated and decided these would be what I would buy especially since they offer the 30 day returns which Joelle does not offer! Alright, done with the rant and now back to my heavenly purchase: I know already I will not be returning these. When I put these in my hand I felt an immediate comfort. They glide like a dream, smooth as butter. Why I chose The Butterfly is because they are just one streamlined scissor. There is not a tension screw and the finger rest is part of the scissor. I don't want to have to mess with tension or deal with bells or whistles. I got exactly what I was looking for in these and I really think these will last me for the rest of my career.
